Mrs. Stacey Schellenberg

Mrs. Schellenberg grew up right here in Bellefonte and graduated from Bellefonte High School in 2000.  She then pursued a degree in Science, earning her Bachelor’s in Biology/Chemistry with a concentration in DNA Forensics from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania in 2004.  She traveled the country working in Construction Testing Laboratories, lived in Maryland and Nevada, before settling back in Centre County.  Once she returned home, she worked with the Rifle Squad in the Bellefonte Marching Band Colorguard and realized how much she loved to teach.  She then went back to school to get her teaching degree.  She earned her Master’s of Science of Instruction with a teaching certification in General Science from Drexel University in 2009 and then in 2023 received her certification as an English as a Second Language Specialist.  Mrs. Schellenberg substituted in the local school districts and then began teaching Chinese students English online with VIPKID and also became the Varsity Assistant Coach for the Bellefonte Track and Field team working with the Throwing events (Shot Put, Javelin, and Discus).  From there she became an Intervention Reading Para-Educator in the Bellefonte School District and when the opportunity presented itself she became the English as a Second Language Teacher with the Bellefonte Area School District.   

Mrs. Schellenberg lives in the Bellefonte area with her Husband, Daughter, Son, and many pets (7 cats and 3 dogs).  She loves to travel, sing, spend time with family and friends, and watch sporting events.  She’s always looking for the next adventure with her family.

Mrs. Schellenberg loves helping each of her students and athletes become the best that they can in anything they choose to do!  Her favorite part of teaching is to see the A-HA Moment and the confidence that the students have in their studies and world around them.
